Yesterday we pointed out how the kids of Los Campesinos! doesn’t seem to understand the concept of a “break.” You could say the same thing about Deer Tick. In just the last two years, the Providence, Rhode Island outfit have released two full-lengths and an EP. Plus, they’ve toured the country about 38 separate times.
So, needless to say, we’re not at all surprised to learn the band has mapped out yet another road trip. In support of their latest studio effort The Black Dirt Sessions (grab a free song below), Deer Tick will launch a month long tour starting October 6th in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. From there, they’ll travel south, making their way down South Carolina and Georgia before crossing into Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas. A slew of west coast dates follow and then it’s back east, with the band set to conclude their travels on November 3rd in Philadelphia.
