Deerhunter is no stranger to indie-tastic tours. Examples here and here. So anytime the Bradford Cox-led outfit hits the road, you know you’re going to get something good. For the band’s latest tour, which comes in support of their forthcoming album Halcyon Digest, they’ll be joined by the likes of surf pop band Real Estate, Animal Collective’s Deakin, electronic musician Casino Versus Japan, and up-and-coming indie rockers Ducktails.
Following sporadic dates across the east coast in August, Deerhunter will kick off their roadtrip in Atlanta on October 1st. Casino Versus Japan and Ducktails will then join them for the next two dates, before Ducktails leave and Real Estate steps in for a two week run. As Deerhunter travels down south in early November, Real Estate will swap with Deakin and it’s smooth sailing from there. The fun will then all wrap up with a date in Nashville on November 10th.
