Erykah Badu receives fine, probation for nude music video

Some four months after stripping all for a music video, Erykah Badu has received her punishment.

EW reports the singer/songwriter received a $500 fine and six months probation for charges stemming from her “Window Seat” video, in which she stripped nude in Dallas’ Dealey Plaza (where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963).

Following the video’s shoot, Badu was cited for disorderly conduct, though she had reportedly expressed aspirations for an arrest, so she could make a “bigger message.”
