Not to be outdone by Coachella, the Chicago based Lollapalooza music festival has announced its 2011 dates some 72 hours after the 2010 edition came to an end. So, be sure to keep August 5-7 open on your calendar, as the festival will return for its 15th rendition during that weekend.
Tickets will go on sale sometime next spring and, based on history, you can expect the lineup in April. While you’re waiting, I suggest you check out our coverage of Lollapalooza 2010. It’s pretty top notch.
