New Kings of Leon due out October 19th?

Looking to turn the page on Pigeongate, Kings of Leon are back on the road, previewing new selections off their forthcoming, still untitled fifth studio album. And while details regarding the record remain mostly non-existent, today we received what may be our first major bombshell. Citing the release schedule from the band’s label, RCA, DirectCurrent reports the followup to 2008’s Only By the Night currently sports an October 19th release date. No other confirmation has been made, but the prospective date does jive with drummer Nathan Followill’s recent deceleration that the album is “locked and finished”.

Among the tracks expected to appear on the new album include “Mary”, “Immortals”, “Radioactive” and “Southbound”. In this case, YouTube is your best friend.
