She & Him have been jingle jangling around the world since the spring, playing music festivals, Oakland, and everywhere in between. They also released their sophomore effort, the aptly titled Volume 2, covered Rube Bloom and Johnny Mercer, and pretended to be RDJ.
Surprisingly, Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward still have enough left in the tank for final round of US tour dates. As TwentyFourBit points out, the musical duo will perform 10 times between the end of August and end of October. Included are appearances at the Treasure Island Music Festival in San Francisco and City Arts Music Festival in Seattle, as well as headlining dates across both the mid-west and west coast.
Along with the final tour dates, She & Him have also released a new 7″ for Volume 2‘s second single, “Thieves”. The limited edition release, which also features the previously unavailable b-side “I Knew It Would Happen This Way”, is available through Merge Records.
