The last time a show was announced this far in advance it was Pavement’s NYC reunion and, well, we all know how that turned out. Anyhow, I hope you don’t have plans for July 1, 2011 yet, because The Flaming Lips have announced they’ll be performing their 1999 classic The Soft Bulletin, in its entirety, on that day.

The performance is part of ATP Concert’s Don’t Look Back series, and it will take place at Alexandra Palace in London. Support will be provided by Dinosaur Jr., who will play their 1988 album Bug. Deerhoof will appear too, performing 2004’s Milk Man.

Tickets will go on sale starting Friday, September 3rd. Click here for more details.
