Like bandmates Panda Bear and Avey Tare, Deakin is using Animal Collective’s current hiatus to focus his attention on a solo project. And while it’s been limited to only a few dates and trip to Africa thus far, the AnCo multi-instrumentalist will ramp up his efforts this fall when he hits the road with Paw Tracks protege Prince Rama for a North American tour.
