It’s official. Kings of Leon have confirmed the October 19th release of their fifth studio album, the followup to the 2008 Platinum-selling Only by the Night.
Spin reports the album will be titled Come Around Sundown and consists of 13 tracks, which the band recorded with producer Jacquire King (Norah Jones, Be Your Own Pet) and longtime mentor-collaborator Angelo Petraglia in New York City. The end result is said to hear the band “stepping outside their traditional guitar-bass-drums arrangements, adding fiddle, trumpet, and lap steel to select tracks.”
