Watch: Spoon brings “Nobody Gets Me But You” to Fallon

I don’t think anyone would deny the quality or influence of Spoon‘s discography. That said, perhaps our brethren at Prefix put it best when saying “It’s been a strange 2010 for Britt Daniel and his band.” After all, for all the hype of their latest album Transference, it seemingly flopped in the always important attribute of staying power. Plus, they currently find themselves opening for a band that has four less studio albums than them. Woo is the life of the indie rock band.

Still, Spoon is still Spoon, meaning they’re still a band worth paying attention to, especially when they team up with The Roots’ ?uestlove and Owen Biddle for a performance of Transference‘s “Nobody Gets Me But You” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. That’s indeed what happened last night and, compliments of Prefix, you can relive it all below.
