With the “Gruesome Twosome” tour having sold so well across the board, horror show masters Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper have opted to team up again, and during the most appropriate time of the year no less: October. Billed as the “Halloween Hootenanny”, the trek spans just under a month, kicking off on September 31st in Los Angeles. The ordeal will then spend the next three weeks making its way east, ultimately concluding in Nashville on October 20th. Joey Jordison/Wednesday 13 outfit Murderdolls will serve as support.
So, is it safe to assume that the crowds for this “Halloween Hootenanny” and the “Gruesome Twosome” tour are a more enthusiastic bunch than those who caught Zombie with KoRn during Mayhem? Probably, so everyone here in the east get your act together and show some love! After all, this is a timeless collaboration of shock rock galore, and I’d like to be able to lurch about during “Feed My Frankenstein” with a few hundred other ghouls, thank you.
Prepare for the undead invasion! Also, feel free as an added interactive bonus to post in the comments as many zombie puns as you can come up with. Remember, be original. Meanwhile, I’d better go bone up on my coprse make-up. Anyone? Anyone? Oh, screw you guys.
