Check Out If You Must: Carlos Santana – “Back in Black” (feat. Nas)

We don’t know why you’d be waiting with anticipation for this, but if you are, get ready for the most WTF collaboration since… ever. As 2DopeBoyz reports, Carlos Santana‘s cover of AC/DC’s “Back in Black” is now on the Internet for your download/streaming pleasure…or whatever.

The cover, which is track six off of the upcoming Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time, features Nas and some random girl on vocals. No, unfortunately, Nas does not attempt his best Brian Johnson impression. Instead, he has put together some empty (but not incapable) verses to the backdrop of Santana’s excruciatingly loud Angus Young. The anonymous female’s backing vocals serve to make this extra camp, instead of just being unnecessary.

We’ll reserve judgment on the album until we hear the “Smoke on the Water” cover featuring the guy from Papa Roach, however. As for this addition to the list of humanity’s greatest efforts, you can stream it below.
