Check Out: The Jack White-produced theme for Elvira’s Movie Macabre

A little early for Halloween, but we’ll take it like we’re a kid on Christmas morning anyways, the Jack White-produced theme song for Elvira’s Movie Macabre, as performed by The Black Belles, has debuted and it’s so much fun it’s scary (via TwentyFourBit).

If you literally had to boil everything about Jack White down to 30 seconds, this would be it. It’s dark, it’s a little gloomy, there’s some prominent organ work, and you can’t help but want more and more. Speaking of more, Cassandra Peterson (the actress who plays Elvira; sorry to burst your bubble) also revealed that Third Man Records would be releasing the song in day-glo-vinyl, so stay tuned for more details on that.

Elvira’s Movie Macabre airs every Saturday night on This! TV. Be sure to check your local listings for air times. Unless you’re too frightened. Muahahaahah!

In other Jack White news, beyond this, this, and this, the rock god is reportedly producing a single for Swedish psych band Dungen. “The piece I heard, a few times, was a heavy stunning instrumental long enough to spill over both sides of a 45,” reports David Fricke of Rolling Stone. So there’s something else to look forward to.
