With all of this Kanye and Lil Wayne news to report, it’s easy to forget that there are other rappers in the world. Coming off a performance at one of the best rap shows ever, 50 Cent is finally back in the headlines without anyone else’s name attached to his. Thanks to Xclusivezone.com, a full CD quality version of the lost Before I Self Destruct track – “They Burn Me” – has finally emerged for our consumption.

The track finds the rapper in his usual angry state, but instead of going completely agro on us, 50 Cent – whose real name is Curtis Jackson – actually sounds kind of hurt by those who’ve double crossed him in the past. The four-minute track starts with Fiddy rap-singing “Look at what they did to me/they burned me/they turned me into an animal…they burned me to fifth degree/they burned me.” He goes on to wallow through past memories even mentioning that people “…ain’t loyal to shit.”

It’s enough to almost make us feel bad for the guy, and just goes to show that even having your own Vitamin Water flavor can’t bring you real joy and happiness.  Check out the track below.
