Chiddy Bang, the rap duo comprised of rapper Chiddy and producer Xaphoon Jones, went from being freshmen at Drexel University in 2008 to being blogged about by Kanye West in 2009 for their mixtape The Swelly Express; not a bad way to spend your college years. And while they hit a bit of a snag when their debut album, The Swelly Life, was pushed back until 2011, they’re rebounding quickly with the release of a digital EP this October entitled, appropriately enough, The Preview.
The “mini-album” will feature some of duo’s better known offerings, including “Opposite of Adults”. It will also feature some star-studded contributions with Pharrell Williams, Q-Tip, and Darwin Deez, an indie folk-rocker/weirdo everyone should’ve checked out by now.
