Generally, the person celebrating the birthday is the one who receives the gifts. But if you’ve been a reader of Consequence of Sound over the last three years, you’re probably aware we don’t really go by the book. Case in point, we’ve already surrendered every one of our Friday nights from now until Christmas in the name of Kanye West.
So, with that in mind, might we present you with the four prizes we are currently offering CoS readers:
— A pair of two-day passes for Treasure Island Music Festival 2010. Set to take place from October 16-17 on San Francisco’s Treasure Island, this year’s bill includes Belle & Sebastian, LCD Soundsystem, The National, Deadmau5, and more.
— A pair of tickets for Pavement‘s September 21st reunion show at the Central Park Summerstage in New York City. Enough said.
— Interpol prize pack featuring Turn on the Bright Lights and Antics on vinyl, exclusive posters, and stickers.
— A Chromeo prize pack featuring copies of the New York duo’s new album Business Casual on both CD and vinyl, a numbered and signed 18×24 lithograph poster, and an American Apparel Business Casual t-shirt. (Business Casual is due for release on 9/14; stream a Noise Invaders Dub remix of the album track “Don’t Turn The Lights On” below.)
Note the word CoS readers. This giveaway is for only our most dedicated readers, those who are either registered on the site, Like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter. If you’re one of those and would like a chance to win one of the aforementioned prizes, then drop us a comment below, on Facebook, or tweet @coslive on Twitter telling us your favorite thing about the site. The four individuals who come up with the best answers will win.
Entries must be in on Friday, September 17th at 3:00 pm EST. Winners will be chosen and notified shortly thereafter. Good luck! And again, thanks for reading! Seriously, you guys rock!
