Amidst the current push to eliminate southern California’s rave scene, some of L.A.’s best knob turners, button mashers, and beatmakers are packing up their gear and taking on the rest of the nation for 2010’s second installment of the “Magical Properties Tour”.
The trek, which will be co-headlined by Daedelus and The Gaslamp Killer, also features 12th Planet, Free The Robots, Samiyam, and Teebs. From October 14th to Halloween, both 12th Planet and Teebs will break in the audience for the evenings’ audio onslaught. For two dates in November, Samiyam will replace 12th Planet, creating an opening bill comprised purely of talent from Flying Lotus‘ Brainfeeder imprint. Afterwards, the void on the bill left from Teebs departure on November 4th will be filled by Free the Robots for the final 11 shows.
Still, Daedalus and The Gaslamp Killer are saving the best for their home-town audience. On November 20th the entire collective (except for 12th Planet) will attempt to bring L.A.’s House of Blues down with their bass-power.
