UK outfit Field Music is set to return to the US this fall for an 11-date tour. The jaunt, which sees founding members and siblings Peter and David Brewis joined by newbies Kev Dosdale (guitar and keys) and Ian Black (bass), will launch in Allston, MA, on September 22nd.
Dates are also lined up for Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Charlotte, and Dallas, among other places, before the tour ends up in Chicago on October 3rd. Later in the year, the band will also play at the Belle & Sebastian-curated Bowlie Weekender 2, which takes place over the weekend of December 10-12th in Minehead, England.
Since the February release of Field Music (Measure), Field Music has been playing across Europe, and barring David Brewis catching swine flu again, the return to the US on September 22nd will be the band’s first live dates since March. Tickets to select dates can be found over at Ticketmaster.
