Lady Gaga‘s endless world tour just got even more fabulous than it already was. When the Monster Ball World Tour comes back to the U.S. next February, fellow modern gay icons the Scissor Sisters will be tagging along for a month.
The New York based glam outfit will open for the Fame Monster beginning February 19th in Atlantic City, join her at home in New York for two Madison Square Garden dates, and continue westward until Salt Lake City on March 19th. Gaga will resume solo dates on the 22nd in Oakland.
“We Scissor Sisters are thrilled to be a part of Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour in 2011,” the band said. “It’s a perfect opportunity to join forces with such a kindred spirit.”
This news comes shortly after the Scissor Sisters finished up the North American tour in support of their latest album, Night Work, so far their most successful record in the U.S. The pop collective will head to Europe late next month, ending the year in the U.K. before Christmas.
