That new song which The Rapture debuted in June is reportedly titled “Sail Away”, and was performed again by the NYC outfit during their performance at FYF Fest in Los Angeles on Saturday. You can find footage below.
There’s still no word on when The Rapture will release their much anticipated, still untitled fourth studio album. But in a recent interview with inthemix, drummer Vito Roccorforte noted the record, which was produced by Phillipe Zdar of French dance duo Cassius, has been completed and should see release in 2011. In a separate interview with Neon Tommy, keyboardist/saxophonist Gabriel Andruzzi said a winter release is planned.
