Last year marked the first year since 2001 in which Yo La Tengo didn’t celebrate Hanukkah with a string of eight (get it) guest heavy performances in Hoboken, New Jersey. They’ll resume their duties this year though; Maxwell’s will will host the festivities from December 1-8. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. Surprise guests means just that, so we don’t yet know who the New Jersey rockers will be joined by this time around. For context, past surprises have included Jim James (of My Morning Jacket), Alex Chilton, and The Clean.
