Check Out: My Chemical Romance’s new single – “The Only Hope For Me Is You”

After releasing the most obnoxiously titled lead single in recent history, My Chemical Romance have returned to add fuel to the fire that is November 22nd – a date that we suggested may be the biggest release day of 2010.

That fuel comes in the form of “The Only Hope For Me Is You”, the New Jersey punk-poppers’ second single from their upcoming album – Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. The four-and-a-half minute track (via Some Kind of Awesome) isn’t as synth-tastic as “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na), but it does find lead singer Gerard Way chanting “remember me” over a swirling intro before the song’s crunchy guitar part gives way to a infectiously melodic chorus that is sure to have soldiers in the MCRmy bobbing their heads in no time.

The new album (and the $69 deluxe edition) won’t hit the streets for another three weeks, so your only hope of (legally) owning this little nugget of sound is to buy the single. If you’re waiting for the album, then pre-orders are going on here. If you just want to hear the song then look (and listen) below.
