If Pavement‘s reunion has got you tuckered out from ’90s nostalgia, here’s another shot in the arm to remind you of the wonders of the era of alternative music and wardrobes filled with flannel. Reuniting for the first time since breaking up in 1999, Grant Lee Buffalo, those heralds of Americana music, are set to play a select number of dates in early 2011.
According to BrooklynVegan, the trio, comprised of singer/guitarist Grant Lee Phillips, bassist/producer Paul Kimble, and drummer Joey Peter, will play shows on both sides of the Atlantic this winter. So far, the North American portion consists of stops at Seattle, San Francisco, and New York City, with more dates sure to come.
