Time for your daily hourly Kanye West update: According to MTV, a new track from the Chicago MC titled “Blame Game” features a “healthy sample of the melancholy piano groove in cult electronic musician Aphex Twin’s 2001 song, ‘Avril 14th’, as well as vocals from John Legend.” West has not yet decided whether the track will make the final cut for his new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, due November 22nd via Def Jam.
In a separate MTV article, La Roux’s Elly Jackson reports West will not only appear on a forthcoming remix of the UK pop outfit’s song “In for the Kill”, but will also show up in a music video for it. As we reported yesterday, Jackson will return the favor when she appears as a guest contributor on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
