As the month of November (aka the biggest month in 2010 releases) approaches, late night has stepped up their game accordingly. And I’m talking big time. Last week was 80 percent re-runs, and even the new performances were a little boring (with the exception of the television debut of Die Antwoord, which you should go watch now). But this week? Let the games begin.
The elusive, cult-ish Underworld are making a stop at Jimmy Fallon, Kid Cudi’s celebrating his upcoming release and Kings of Leon are going to try to teach us how not to be douche bags by visiting Letterman this week, and Kylie Minogue is back in the U.S. for some late night fun. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Interpol, Ra Ra Riot, School of Seven Bells (possibly my new favorite band), K’naan, GWAR, She & Him, and Corinne Bailey Rae are all playing slots. I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again: thank goodness for DVR.
Heres your Late Night Lobotomy.
