Artists have a history of continuing to release amazing work even after theyve left the confines of this earthly realm. Considering how revolutionary he was while still alive, theres no reason to have suspected Michael Jackson to buck the trend. While were still waiting for word on a slew of projects we reported on back in July (including a Cirque du Soleil show. The trailer for the video game was released last month. Was anyone else hoping for a Wii version of Michael Jacksons Moonwalker?), Rolling Stone has provided the first complete details on Michael Jacksons Vision.
The three-DVD package will include every one of Jackons more than 40 music videos in their entirety. That means full versions of the game-changing Thriller, the Martin Scorsese-directed Bad, and even rare gems like the collaboration with SFX guru Stan Winston, Ghosts. Whats more, videos from his days with The Jacksons and his Say Say Say duet with Paul McCartney will be yours to view at will. The never-before-released One More Chance and the Spike Lee-directed alternative prison version of They Dont Care About Us will also be part of the set.
Due out on, go figure, November 22nd (I think we can now confirm this story), Vision will be available as a limited edition box set that includes a 60-page hardcover book filled with images from Jacksons personal annals. Grab yourself the package on pre-order from the Michael Jackson website. It may have been the title of his concert film, but fans might be saying that, in actuality, this is it.
