Motorhead ready new album, The World Is Yours

What’s next for a band who tours constantly, whose frontman is cool enough to have a documentary made about him, and who recently formed their own music label? Release a new album, of course, which is exactly what Motorhead have done. The California-based trio have teamed up with EMI Music to give you the Motorhead Music label, with the first release being none other than the band’s 20th studio effort, The World Is Yours. The 10-song LP was partially recorded at longtime Motorhead fan and Lemmy friend Dave Grohl‘s Studio 606.

To coincide with their album release, Motorhead are going to be busy out on the road with a slew of European dates beginning on November 8th. All ticket information can be found via the official Motorhead website. Keep hope alive that we get a few dates thrown our way, U.S. fans.

The World Is Yours is scheduled for release in the UK on December 13th via Motorhead Music. No announcement has been made on an official North American release date, but expect information to follow close behind.
