While we bide our time until the release of Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager, Kid Cudi isn’t biding a damn thing. Last night the much hyped MC hit Late Night with David Letterman to perform frat-rocker “Erase Me” which, unfortunately, did not feature Kanye West. Yeezy is on the album version, and in the music video, but Cudder showed off his vocal abilities and guitar chops all while looking uber twee for a hip hop player.
In addition to the press junket, Cudder is already working on his next next album. “I already have three songs done,” said Cudi at his LP’s listening party (via HipHopDX).
And in addition to the press junket, and the next next album, Cudder already has another band! ”Our band is called Wizards! We’re starting to record on the tour bus. We’ll be doing college runs. I never thought I could play a [guitar]. I always downplayed that shit.” Well, you sounded fine on “Erase Me.” Just remember, you can’t downplay a guitar, you lonely stoner. Haven’t you ever seen Spinal Tap?
