Samples are cool and all, but obviously a full-length song is better. So, here’s something new called “Destroyers”. It’s not one of the 21 tracks included on Adams’ forthcoming Cardinals III/IV — aka his “second double-album concept rock opera about the 80’s, ninjas, cigarettes, sex, and pizza” — but upon downloading from Adams’ website, it comes labeled as track #22, which leads us to believe it is one of the 11 unreleased demos included with one’s purchase of either the vinyl or CD versions of Cardinals III/IV through Adams’ personal imprint, PaxAm Records. Or not. Either way, it’s good to hear new, non-metal Ryan Adams again.
