Dr. Dog perform “Someday” on Ferguson

If you happen to be a fan of musicals and psychedelic indie-rock, then Late Late Night with Craig Ferguson should have been your destination Wednesday night. After trying to pass Ferguson’s “cool test”, Jayma Mays (better known as Glee‘s neurotic, school counselor) picked up the mouth organ, for a rousing harmonica duet with the show’s host. But she was missing just one vital ingredient for absolute cool: indoor sunglasses.

Luckily the boys from Dr. Dog had that covered. Currently on the road promoting their newest release, Shame, Shame, the big-timey rock-stars brought “Someday” to the late-night lineup. With the band providing the haunting beat of a march to nowhere, bassist and lead-singer Toby Leaman painfully admitted he “should have known better”. A sentiment you’ll share if you don’t watch the video above.

Shame, Shame is currently available where ever you pick up your tunes.
