Fresh off his performance with Coco, Jack White is back to playing record executive and he just detailed Third Man Records’ next release. On January 24th, the Nashville based label will drop a White-produced 7″ single from Swedish rockers Dungen. On the A-side will be a track called “Oga Nasa Mum”, while the flipside features an as-yet-untitled instrumental, reports NME.
The news comes the same day in which Third Man dropped a similar release from UK singer/songwriter Laura Marling today. If fact, you can stream both tracks from the single — covers of Jackson C. Frank’s “Blues Run The Game” and Neil Young’s “The Needle And The Damage Done” — right now on NME.
And while we’re on the topic of Third Man Records releases, Nashville rockers Jeff the Brotherhood recently tweeted that they’ll soon release a live LP through the label. We hear comedian Reggie Watts will as well.
