So that new, Mark Ronson-produced Duran Duran album now has a release date and tracklist. The nine-song All You Need Is Now will be available exclusively on iTunes starting December 21st, with an expanded, 12-track physical release to follow in February 2011. The first single from the record, title track All You Need Is Now, will be available worldwide on December 14th, also exclusively on the iTunes.
You can already get a sense of the album, which is described as a “return to roots,” by checking out the already unveiled track “Being Followed”, but here are two more things to expect: The album features guest vocals/rap from longtime Duran Duran collaborator Ana Matronic of the Scissor Sisters, while Owen Pallett of Arcade Fire contributes the albums string arrangements.
Duran Duran plan to support the release with a North American tour next Spring. We’ll let you know when dates are announced.
