It’s only November, but the news and rumors regarding the 2011 festival season are officially in full swing. CMJ and Ultra have already made major blips on our radar and now a little ol’ festival in the U.K. wants its voice to be heard too. The Isle of Wright Festival – which is being held during the second weekend of June – has announced all but one headliner and is making tickets available this Friday, November 19th. Kings of Leon will headline Friday’s festivities, and the newly reunited Pulp will actually open for the Foo Fighters on Saturday. Sunday’s headliners are set to be announced in less than 24 hours.

While Vodaphone VIPs are already buying their tickets now (thanks to an “exclusive pre-sale”), the rest of us will get our chance to scoop up our camping passes and general admission at precisely 9 a.m. GMT. While that means our stateside readers will be fast asleep when tickets go on sale, they’ve got nothing to worry about. There are a lot of festivals competing for our paychecks and we’re sure you’ll be able to snag one of the tens of thousands of tickets that are available. Plus, you’re probably going to need a little time to save your allowance anyway.

Three-day passes to the festival are listed at £150, which is roughly $240, and camping passes are bit more expensive. Throw in a plane ticket, and you’re talking about a grand. More ticketing information is available on the festival’s official website. We’ll always keep the Festival Outlook page updated for you too.
