Let me be the first to welcome you to November. From here on out, there’s no avoiding it: winter. It was a lovely summer fraught with festivals, earth-shattering album releases, and all sorts of news. But that’s finished for now. We’ve got to come to grips with reality and go dig out our copies of For Emma, Forever Ago. I hope you saved enough of that excess summer energy to conjure it in times of need this winter, but if not, you’ll have late night television!
Which brings me to my next point: late night television. Almost as if to say, “Come on in, the water’s fine”, the booking teams at these shows have given us a pretty generous lineup. I’m talking two helpings of Elvis Costello generous. And the fun doesn’t end there! Mark Ronson will have you dancing in your living room. Built To Spill, Dr. Dog, and School of Seven Bells (still my new favorite band) should get your indie fix fixed, and you’ll get to relive your horrid acne-ridden Jr. High School years with performances from Good Charlotte and Anberlin. See? Awesome all around.
Heres your Late Night Lobotomy.
