Rush continue Time Machine Tour through next spring

It’s encouraging to see old-timers continue to contribute new stuff and tour like it’s 20 years ago. Bon Jovi was a good example of that, and so is Rush. Having just completed a the first leg of the Time Machine Tour earlier this year, the Toronto prog outfit has already planned a month-long trip for next spring (via Rock it Out! Blog).

Luckily for that fan who sued over a canceled show last year (if he’s still a fan), Rush will be hitting major markets Chicago and New York, as well as the little big towns. The tour starts March 30th in Ft. Lauderdale, rounds out the South and hits spots like Toledo, Ohio and Hershey, New Jersey in April. The itinerary also includes stops in the Midwest before Rush heads home to Canada, playing Hamilton, Ontario and Montreal. The final scheduled North American date is in Baltimore on April 22nd.

The band will then travel to Europe for the first time on this tour, playing in Scandinavia, Ireland, the U.K., and Germany.

For the Time Machine Tour, Rush has been performing its landmark album Moving Pictures in its entirety (“Tom Sawyer”, bro!). Tickets will be available December 6th through Live Nation, or you can can score your tickets on Seatgeek. For each (first-party) ticket sold, one dollar will go to charity for Haiti relief. Take a look at all the dates below.
