How many times can one use the word “Dogg” (or some form of it) in one paragraph? Let’s try now.
Snoop Dogg, the multi-platinum rapper and former star of E! masterpiece Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood, has just announced the release of his next doggy-licious album. Titled Doggumentary Music, the followup to 2009’s Malice n Wonderland will receive release in March 2011 through Priority Records/EMI. Ahead of the release, Snoop Dogg has already dropped the album’s first single, “New Year’s Eve”, which you can stream below. He has also decided to“doggument” his musical process online via his UStream and other social networking platforms. According to an issued press release, “these live sessions will give fans a peek into the making of the album; whether it is a studio session with Snoop, him playing cuts from the album or one of Snoop’s key producers talking about the making of the album, viewers will get a glimpse into the creation of Doggumentary Music.” Sounds dog-gone great.
