Conan O’Brien has had no problem ushering in his new late-night talkshow this week. After tapping Jack White and Soundgarden as musical guests to launch his new TBS show, the lanky Yankee brought in Fistful of Mercy to help get all of us through hump day.
To promote their debut, As I Call You Down which dropped October 5th, Ben Harper and the rest of the super group have been accumulating some serious camera time, including a stop over at J-Fal with some of guys from The Roots. While the trio’s most recent late-night performance of “Father’s Son” couldn’t feature ?uestlove on drums, they weren’t about to show up to Conan without a little extra something. Recruiting the talents of Tom Morello to add some electricity to the predominantly acoustic track.
