I can’t say I know much about Nicki Minaj’s work, but I know that she kills it on My Twisted Beautiful Dark Fantasy. As my introduction to her (and after discovering her, I soon realized that I heard her everywhere) it didn’t really prepare me for her “Right Through Me” performance on Late Night with David Letterman last night. Where are the crazy voices, the spunk, the mother-fucking monster part? I couldn’t gauge how little she was singing, but it seemed to be “very little”. And on top of all of it, the blog that had the clip, That Grape Juice.net, also informed their audience that advance word on Pink Friday is not so great. Disappointment just went right through me.
