Friday night marked the start of Weezer’s “Memories” tour and aside from reliving The Blue Album in its entirety, the night also saw Rivers Cuomo and Co. bring out the evening’s opener and recent-in studio collaborator, Best Coast, for a joint performance of The Green Album track “Island in the Sun”. Or, as Best Coast frontwoman Bethany Cosentino put it, “I just sang “Island in the Sun” onstage with Weezer!!! #lifeiscomplete.”
