If you fancy yourself a firework (whatever that really is), then you should be elated with the recent leak of the previously unreleased Katy Perry track “Part of Me”. While it’s clearly not as good as our No. 5 song of the year, the pop-rock anthem (which, according to MTV, was produced by Dr. Luke) is a pretty decent “Hey, I just went through a breakup but it’s OK cause I’m stronger now” kind of track. No official word on its potential release, but MTV reports that it could appear on a reissue of Perry’s Grammy nominated sophomore LP Teenage Dream.
