Glassjaw announce singles compilation, first tour in four years

In recent months, the post-hardcore animal that is Glassjaw has slowly been awakening after years of inactivity. Since August, they’ve been dropping one new single after another — their first new material since 2005. Now, Long Island based outfit is readying the release of a singles compilation, Our Color Green (The Singles), and will soon hit the road for two months of touring. Arise, great beast, arise!

Due for release on January 1st, Our Color Green (The Singles) packages together the band’s five new singles previously released individually in vinyl and mp3 form. The artwork can be found to your right and the tracklist below.

The tour, the band’s first in four years, kicks off on February 13th in Philadelphia, PA. From there, it’s down the Eastern seaboard and into the South before a string of shows in Texas. After their jaunt in the Lone Star State, the band will continue to head west into Arizona and California, before heading back east into the Midwest, coming to a close on March 26th in Sayreville, NJ. With almost three weeks between their March 6th show in Cleveland, OH and their penultimate show on March 25th, you’ve got to think the fellas could throw in an extra show or two. Maybe?

Our Color Green (The Singles) Tracklist:
01. All Good Junkies Go to Heaven
02. Jesus Glue
03. Natural Born Farmer
04. Stars
05. You Think You’re (John Fucking Lennon)
