Songstress Beth Ditto has been packing a punch on the music scene for over 10 years as the frontwoman for indie rock darlings Gossip. Now, the Arkansas native will be getting her chance to shine as a solo artist on a new 4-song EP produced by Simian Mobile Disco. The as yet untitled collaboration will be a reunion of sorts as the electronica duo recruited Ditto for a track on their 2009 release, Temporary Pleasure.
Fans will be able to purchase the Beth Ditto/Simian Mobile Disco project in vinyl format and as a digital download in just a few short weeks as the EP is scheduled to hit the masses in January. An exact release date has not been confirmed, but keep checking back for more information.
