This past March, we introduced you to MG&V, a supergroup made up of Taylor Goldsmith (the G) of Dawes, Matthew Vasquez (the V) of Delta Spirit, and John McCauley (the M) of Deer Tick. Coming together from a shared inability to stand still, the trio played shows at SXSW and went about their separate ways with their respective bands shortly thereafter. Now, a handful of months later, the band is back together under the name Middle Brother, and are readying their self-titled debut for release on March 1st, 2011 via Partisan Records, reports IFC. While you await further news on the the tracklist and other pertinent info, check out the band performing the album’s opener, a ballad called “Daydreaming”, above. It’s good to know the second introduction’s just as nice as the first.
