Pendulum will start off 2011 by joining Linkin Park on their North American tour, but that’s not all they’ve got planned. The Australian dance rockers recently announced a short February trek through the US and Canada that will begin as they finish up their stint as LP’s opening act.
The “Immersion Tour,” named after their 2010 album, is limited to just seven major cities across the nation, with New York City getting first dibs on February 5th. From there, Pendulum will swing over to the West Coast for the rest of the dates. Canada only gets one concert this time around, in Vancouver on February 20th. The last currently scheduled performance is on February 26th in Las Vegas. American dance band Innerpartysystem will open for Pendulum on all dates.
The trek will coincide with the American release of Immersion on January 25th through Atlantic Records. The album was released in the UK last May, where it peaked at number one on the Official UK Top 40.
