Remember how fun it was to say out Spoon’s Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga ten times fast? Well, here’s another drinking game for you: Explosions of the Sky will return with their fifth album, titled Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, on April 26 via Temporary Residence Ltd. Recorded at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Texas with John Congleton and produced by the band, the six-track effort is the Texas-based quartet’s first full length studio effort since 2007’s All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone. The record was mixed by Congleton at Austin, TX’s Public Hi Fi studio and features artwork by longtime visual collaborator Esteban Rey.
Explosions in the Sky will support the release with extensive touring throughout 2011. So far, they’ve already announced an April 6th date for the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City, as well as a tour of the U.K. and Europe in May.
