Matisyahu – "King Without A Crown" Live from Stubb's Vol: II

A Cluster 1 Exclusive!

He showed us that Hasidic Jews could skank with the best of them on his debut (2005’s Live At Stubb’s) so it only makes sense that Matisyahu would someday return to where it all began.  Unlike 2009’s Live at Twist & Shout, the 31-year-old’s latest release finds him back in Austin and sweating it out for nearly 2000 adoring fans in the sweltering Texas heat.

CoS teased you with a mere trailer from the release’s accompanying DVD in December, but now Cluster 1 has exclusive videos of Matisyahu (AKA Matthew Paul Miller) performing both “One Day” and “King Without A Crown” at the same barbeque joint that pretty much launched his career.

His stage show has always been captivating, but it’s interesting to see how the performances have evolved over the past half-decade.  He seems even more comfortable onstage, watching his fans recite every word of songs that now pull from a discography that boasts a trifecta of both live and studio LPs is pretty cool too.

You can pre-order Live at Stubb’s Vol. II (and each type of deluxe package) here.
