Portland indie rockers Menomena will further support last year’s Mines with an Spring U.S. tour. Following an appearance at next month’s Laneway Festival in Australia, the band will launch the U.S. leg of dates at the University of Minneapolis on March 4th. From there, it’s a roadtrip across the U.S. Midwest, with scheduled stops including Iowa City, St. Louis, Louisville, and New Orleans before Menomena makes their way into Austin for performances at South by Southwest. Under the Radar reports that the band will also appear at the Coachella Music Festival, which takes place from April 15-17 in Indio, California. Find all confirmed dates below.
Menomena will embark on the trek without multi-instrumentalist Brent Knopf, who recently left the band to focus on his other musical project, Ramona Falls, as well as “other cre ative pur suits.” Paul Acott will serve as Knopf’s replacement.
