While Method Man is known for being a member of The Wu-Tang Clan and a skilled MC in his own right, Johnny Blaze also fancies himself quite an actor. And with roles in The Wackness, HBO’s The Wire, and even a co-starring credit alongside Redman in How High, Meth has shown he can pull off both roles rather well.
So now, after releasing an album with Ghostface Killa and Raekwon and preparing to do a little touring with the Clan, Tical is ready to get back into the cinema with a role in David Gordon Green’s upcoming film, The Sitter, report via The Playlist. No word yet on what role Meth will play, but the film also stars Jonah Hill as a reluctant babysitter who takes his three charges with him into the city to buy drugs for his girlfriend. Sure, it’s another pot movie, but you can’t call Meth anything if not consistent.
The Sitter will be released July 15th, 2011.
