Before The Mountain Goats went all metal on us (jk), the outfit’s mastermind, John Darnielle, recorded a wonderful acoustic rendition of Radiohead’s “No Surprises”. A Google search tells us that the cover might date all the way back to a 1999 in-studio appearance at WMFU, but regardless, we’re glad Atom of Consumption brought it to our attention by posting it online.
