The… wait… is… almost… over. The Strokes’ long-awaited fourth studio album will be released on March 22nd, according to an internal RCA label release schedule (via Direct Current) No word on a title or tracklist, but the album’s first single is supposedly due out next month. Your move, Dre.
Update: Bassist Nikolai Fraiture has confirmed the March 22nd release date.
Update #2: It also looks like The Strokes are going on a Spring tour. The band is confirmed to play The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on March 12th.
